Cabin V/S buggy

Post by LSGNixo »

Hi,

on the last flight, the cabin started to constantly descent with -350fpm. This of course caused the Delta pressure to reach its limit after some time, so the safety valve opened and the cabin rapidly climbed back to a value that allowed for normal Delta pressure values.
Afterwards, the same cycle started again: Safety valve closed, cabin descended until Delta pressure limits, safety valve opened again.

I checked IOS and MCDU failures page, but there was no failure triggered by ProSim.
I had to complete the flight in manual cabin pressure mode.

Hi,

just had the same issue again with V1.44b9 when doing a step descent, so most probably it has to do something with that...

Hi again,

I'm sure now to have found how to replicate the problem: During every step descent I made so far, the Cabin V/S entered its "descent phase" with -350fpm. The MCDU flight phase (PROG page) however stayed in cruise, as it should.

I'd appreciate a fix, so that one not always has to select MAN mode every time a step descent is made prior to the actual T/D.
