he's only looking for the panel, not a complete one.
I misread Dirk - apologies

Yes, but he is looking for a WORKING panel as per the Simvionics example he included in his post.

Panels from Hispapanel, OC and Cockpitsimparts are kits of parts and need to be assembled by the user.
They are fiddley to assemble and get working properly with a 5inch LCD behind them.
I have 2 OC units and I need to replace mine also.

Hi Dirk. I think I also misunderstood what he needed. He said 'fully working panels' preferrably with backlighting. To me that meant he was looking for a completely functional chrono. If so, then FDS is the way to go.

Sorry guys, could have been more specific. Thanks for all the suggestions so far! Dirk is right. I already have two 5" screens mounted and working. All I still need are the 'fully working' frames that go on the MIP. And I especially like the ones from Simvionics. They seem to have moved to the professional market. :(

Hi Graham,

The link is to Phil Lamberts Simvionics Facebook page posted in May 2017. If you scroll up you can see some more posts showing more chrono faceplate photos.

https://www.facebook.com/Simvionics/pho ... BVO3XCvTPE

He did have some for sale on eBay a long time ago but he hasn't had anything on there for yonks. He hasn't posted on Facebook since March 2018

You can try contacting him but he is more elusive than the Scarlet Pimpernel. He does have a website with a contact page.

If he got enough interest we can only hope he might make some more, but they weren't cheap if I recall correctly.

Cheers
Ron B
