SimWorld Panels Disconnect after takeoff
Re: SimWorld Panels Disconnect after takeoff
Are MIP and the other failing object powered by an external power supply unit (PSU) or only powered by the USB connection of the computer ?
Re: SimWorld Panels Disconnect after takeoff
The SimBox, which has the MIP and CDU connected (daisy chained) is connected to a RenkForce external USB hub which is powered.
Re: SimWorld Panels Disconnect after takeoff
What is the power of that PSU ? mA or A ?
Re: SimWorld Panels Disconnect after takeoff
I think I will contact Simworld as well. Please let us know if you find the fix.
Re: SimWorld Panels Disconnect after takeoff
Update: SimWorld has send a replacment SimBox unit and with this unit I completed three flights last week without any issues.
Seems there something faulty in my unit which I'm going to sent to SimWorld for investigation.
I'll continue testing.

Wire, solder, balsa wood, 2x2 timber, hot glue, super glue, contact adhesive, plastic, blood, sweat and lots of tears.
Re: SimWorld Panels Disconnect after takeoff
Yes, so far so good with the replacement unit.
Re: SimWorld Panels Disconnect after takeoff
Could you tell me what color the LED on the canbus was on the bad unit and is on the replacement?
I'm so tired of this problem so before I contact smworld, I thought I'd check with you if you see this post.
Thanks
