Sismo MIP 3.1 Upper/Lower DU brightness

Post by DaddyBoon »

Hello,

CBC UPPER DU BRT potentiometer correctly set the Upper DU brightness.
CBC LOWER DU BRT potentiometer has no effect on Lower DU brightness.

After having chatted with Thomas Lee: my understanding is
  • Due to the SC-MB limitation CBC LOWER DU BRT potentiometer is ignored...
  • CBC Upper DU BRT should set brightness for both Upper and Lower DU (but don't with PS 3.22 release).

Did I understand well?

Best regards,

I think this means you need to assign the one pot axis from your upper dimmer to both DU’s in Prosim config. So Prosim doesn’t know or care how many pots you actually have available. You could even assign pots on the CPT side to dim screens on the FO side if you wanted to.
