Which Simulator do I need to choose? FSUIPC or SimConnect

Post by Solo86 »

In the Config there is an option for Simulator and the two options are
FSUIPC
or
Simconnect

What determines which should be chosen?

I personally find SimConnect works better with my hardware.

Thanks.
I still don't know what determines the choice? Or if there is anything that determines it?
I think this used to be the flight sim being used. i.e. fsx, p3d etc. Hence the heading 'Simulator'.

It moreso depends on your add-ons and hardware. Some items need to utilize FSUIPC vs. SimConnect. If that is the case I do know you need the pay-for version of FSUIPC. For example, the CockpitForYou throttles can do either, but looking at their forums, many users express better functionality using FSUIPC.
