Once the AP is disconnected during an ILS approach, the nose occasionally pitches down aggressively

Post by dornier »

Hi,

While on a stable approach with flaps 30 or 40, occasionally once the autopilot is disconnected the aircraft will pitch down and just about crash in MSFS 2020. It occurs so fast that I can't recall the descent rate and if the pitch trim has run away. This has happened with previous versions of Prosim v3.xx and previous versions of MSFS. Today it occurred with MSFS 2020 SU10 and flight model 1.11 landing in KBOS. When this issue occurs, it's always after disconnecting the autopilot. Thoughts? CG issue? Autopilot setting?

Today it occurred with flaps 30 and once I disconnected the autopilot below about 1200' or so the nose pitched down aggressively even though the approach was on speed and stable.

Thanks,

George
