MSFS 2020 1.16.2.0 Update

Post by n770 »

Hello,

the flightmodell of MSFS 2020 have changed with the new update. During approach it is very tricky to land because of a lot of lift. The autopilot is not able to do auto landing. I think a rework for the current flight Modell of prism is needed.

Cheers

In the release notes Asobo has mentioned that they added elevator_lift_coef, rudder_lift_coef and fuselage_lateral_cx to the flight model.
They also did “Flaps, stall, wing and fuselage updates” and “more cleanup of the flaps system. Support multi systems with different number of levels and max angles”.
On the B38M it is almost impossible to land. With flaps 40 you get massive lift..

Perhaps the ProSim flightmodels will be even better if Asobo has given them more options to set and tune.

Hi all

After latest MSFS update, unable to fly an ILS approach (LIPZ 04R) neither Autopilot nor manual.
Aircraft cannot capture the Localizer and fluctuates through the LOC from left to right and vice versa....
A flightmodel update is desired.

Thank you and regards
Laszlo

It has been several months since the last flight dynamic model release (March 2021); hopefully we should have an adjusted model by Lapi soon.

In the mean time, back to P3D 5.2.
