I’m not using simconnect i’m using FSUIPC though.

I have installed the p3d driver and test software?
you don't need p3d driver... make sure you DO NOT RUN IT!
I’ll remove it when i get home. So if i’m running FSUIPC mode surely the CVR should work?
I don't see any reason for it to not work...

I will do when i’m home. Does Cpflight have the offsets for the CVR panel
you did not get it...
Just change the primary sim connection from simconnect to fsuipc...
no need to enable FSUIPC driver or configure anything...

DO NOT INSTALL ANY CPFLIGHT SPECIFIC SOFTWARE. Just the com port driver is required.
Prosim has its own cpflight driver.

Re: VNAV UPDATE

Some items already fixed with b16
I was no able to replicate item 5. Still under investigation.

Jun 17 2021 Release Version 3.08b16
======================================
- [FMS][DES] Fixed target speed entry
Note: When trying to enter mach, CAS value was deleted
- [FMS][DES] Fixed WPT/ALT data entry
Note: When not in descend phase, it should not be possible to enter WPT/ALT
- [FMS][VNAV] Fixed VNAV not engaging in some conditions
Note: When FMS is already in descend or approach phase, it is not possible to re-engage VNAV for a climb if aircraft is still before TOD
This can happen after a reposition
- [FMS][VNAV] Fixed VNAV mode when engaging below path
- [FMS][VNAV] Fixed early descend

Must be mechanical fault on my side with the switch
Please test, just TEST, with fsuipc

Are you able to see what the problem is please humberto? I would like to avoid FSUIPC at all costs.
Well, I see no problem.

Shouldn’t need FSUIPC.

Hopefully Humberto can solve this?
No, it does not need FSUIPC.

But using FSUIPC as simlink, may have a different behavior than simconnect, specially in the internal processing due to sim state.
It does not hurt if you try fsuipc to check if it fixes your issue or not.

Re: VNAV UPDATE

Hi Sławek,

Thanks for the extensive feedback. A perfect example of issue report :D and to be followed by others  .

Point 0:
Already fixed and will be avail with next 3.08b16

Point 1:
AT XXXX (LSK1R) should only be visible when descend is active. If you have any other info stating otherwise, it would be nice. Maybe an option or specific FMS version or also avail in crz?
WPT/ALT is used to show VBA/VB/VS reference to current vertical path. Again, current vertical path is only correct for this data when in descend phase. Maybe an option or specific FMS version or also avail when in crz?
3.08b16 will return INVALID ENTRY when trying to enter data if before descent. Further info may be required.

Point 4:
ProSim will stick to the path. Not an easy one as deceleration is influenced by several current factors that may be different from those used for the prediction.
Will investigate donut locations (not a show stopper)
Command speed change: Prosim always worked like that. Important to understand if this was always like this in the real aircraft or if it started with any specific FCC/FMS versions. This requires further investigation to understand if this gradual speed change happens for ALL CMD speed changes or if it only happens for specific situations (not a show stopper but will be investigated)

If you have further info to help with these minor things it would be nice.

About items 2,3 and 5 are actual major issues and will be worked on.

Regards

Re: Delayed APU turn-off

John McClane wrote: 16 Jun 2021, 11:03 Howdy all
As of the latest beta updates I have noted that whenever I turn off the APU, some time passes (maybe a minute or two) before it actually turns off. The APU used to turn off immediately when flipping the switch. Is this how it is supposed to work?
Many thanks

Hi,

Yes, it's the cooldown cycle.
