Re: "Terrain Ahead" and "Pull Up" warnings on landing

You have to manually create it. Use the web call to have a sample

Re: Rudder and crosswind

flightdirector wrote: Today, 17:59 Hi, I’m currently running v. 3.10. I have both rudder and tiller set in Prosim. After update to 3.10 I noticed that it is impossible to takeoff with crosswind as rudder control is insufficient (only on the ground, in the air the rudder worked fine).

To test the possibilities I changed in aircraft.cfg „inhibit_rudder_on_steer” to „1” but this caused the nose wheel steering to be reversed . So when I turned the tiller left, the plane turned right. Also the nose wheel deflection related to rudder pedal movement was reversed, while the rudder itself was moving correctly. Any hints?

Your controls are most probably reversed... please check. Just recalibrate them.

Re: Cabin secure audible two tone siren

Driver170 wrote: Today, 15:35 I got a recording off a pilot for when the cabin is secure. This is a aubile two tone noise in the flightdeck. What is the best way to simulate this? So when boarding is complete and pax seated the pilots get the two tone from the cabin manager that the pax is seated. So how could i simulate this? And just before takeoff they get it again to signal cabin crew is seated and ready for departure!

Hope someone genius can help me with this..

Thanks
From IOS, use the cabin call...

Re: "Terrain Ahead" and "Pull Up" warnings on landing

John McClane wrote: Today, 14:55 During the latest betas I keep getting "Terrain ahead" and "Pull up" warnings during final approach and landing. Not on all airports but some. This is quite noisy and annoying. This happens on IAN landing - on glideslope. (Have not tried ILS). I never used to get these warnings in the past (on the same airports).

Is this how it is supposed to work? Is there any way to turn off these warnings on final?
These callouts were implemented with 3.10. EGPWS database needs to be modulated to prevent these type of warnings in several airports, specially those with peculiar terrain closure.
Modulation is done using a xml file. Contact support to get help with it

Ive done this and restarted all programs but its still the old one..
Sound perception is dynamic, it depends on several factors, even where you locate your speakers...
In my sim, you cannot tell the difference from a youtube video...

Re: 1.10b1 - Rudder/Tiller , trim

This should be fixed with 1.10b2
rudder/tiller combiner option was removed and detection is automatic.

the error has been around for a long time.
I entered the tiller at FSUIPC as an axis.

Hi,

I'm not using a tiller. I'm using rudder pedals only for now. Has anyone tried assigning the rudder and tiller together in MSFS to get around this issue?

Thanks,

George
I do. Does work well.

Regards
Ted
It may work, but you are bypassing prosim. This means that all logic behind will not have any effect. Like towing pin, or hydraulics...
